A two-stage stand for autologous fat grafting. The larger positions hold the harvest syringes while the fat decants; the smaller positions hold the re-injection syringes once the purified fat has been transferred. Sized for large-volume fat grafting, such as breast and gluteal cases, where fat is harvested in 60cc syringes and re-injected from 30cc syringes.
How the stand is used
- Harvest. Aspirate fat into 60cc syringes, close each with a luer lock cap, and place it tip down in a 60cc position.
- Decant. Left upright, the lipoaspirate separates by gravity into three layers: free oil from ruptured adipocytes on top, the adipose graft in the middle, and the infranatant (tumescent fluid, blood and debris) at the tip.
- Purify. Expel the infranatant through the tip, then remove the oil layer by decanting or wicking, leaving the fat for grafting.
- Transfer. Using a luer-to-luer transfer hub, pass the purified fat into 30cc syringes in a closed system, without exposing the graft to air.
- Re-inject. Stand the filled 30cc syringes in their positions, ready for placement. Smaller syringes give finer control of the volume delivered with each pass of the cannula.
- Capacity: 16 syringes: 8 × 60cc harvest and decant positions, plus 8 × 30cc re-injection positions
- Material: 6061-T6 medical-grade aluminium, anodized blue
- Fully autoclavable: reusable, and sterilized with the rest of your instrument set
- Colour-coded: each CLINIMED stand has its own anodized colour, so the right stand is easy to pick out on a busy back table
- Lightweight: aluminium weighs about a third as much as stainless steel
- Pairs with CLINIMED luer lock caps, syringe locks and transfer hubs
- In stock, typically ships within 5 days of receipt of your order
