CLINIMED syringe decant stand, black, 12 syringes (3cc & 10cc)

A two-stage stand for autologous fat grafting. The larger positions hold the harvest syringes while the fat decants; the smaller positions hold the re-injection syringes once the purified fat has been transferred. Sized for small-volume and facial fat grafting, including microfat work, where fat is harvested in 10cc syringes and placed in very small aliquots from 3cc syringes.

How the stand is used

1. Harvest. Aspirate fat into 10cc syringes, close each with a luer lock cap, and place it tip down in a 10cc position.
2. Decant. Left upright, the lipoaspirate separates by gravity into three layers: free oil from ruptured adipocytes on top, the adipose graft in the middle, and the infranatant (tumescent fluid, blood and debris) at the tip.
3. Purify. Expel the infranatant through the tip, then remove the oil layer by decanting or wicking, leaving the fat for grafting.
4. Transfer. Using a luer-to-luer transfer hub, pass the purified fat into 3cc syringes in a closed system, without exposing the graft to air.
5. Re-inject. Stand the filled 3cc syringes in their positions, ready for placement. Smaller syringes give finer control of the volume delivered with each pass of the cannula.
